Welcome to onlinewatersports.app. The following Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website and platform onlinewatersports.app, regarding the maritime directory, operator listing, and enquiry-forwarding services provided through the website by Online Watersports.
By using the website, browsing catalogued beach listings, or creating an account on it—whether as a business operator or as a buyer/customer—it is assumed that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to these Terms of Use.
The company reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time by posting an updated copy on the website. Users who continue to use the website after the publication of changes are deemed to have accepted the revised terms.
General Terms & Legal Age (18+)
- Legal Age & Capacity: The use of the website and the creation of an account are free of charge and permitted solely for adult individuals who have reached the age of eighteen (18), pursuant to Article 127 of the Greek Civil Code. By using the platform, you warrant and represent that you are an adult with full legal capacity under Greek law.
- Personal Data Protection: During your visit to the website and the account or inquiry creation process, you may provide personal details (name, surname, email address, contact phone, beach location, etc.). This personal data is processed strictly for transaction security, inquiry forwarding, and service improvement. Storage and processing are conducted by authorized personnel in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and Greek Law 4624/2019. Data will not be sold or transferred to unauthorized third parties without explicit consent.
- Exclusivity of Platform Transactions: The company does not provide any protection, dispute intervention, or guarantees for users who conduct transactions outside the platform. All official reservations and communications should be initiated through the authorized mechanisms of
onlinewatersports.app. - Technical Support Hours: Technical user support operates 24/7 to maintain edge infrastructure availability and security. Definitions & Platform Terminology
Buyer / Customer
Any natural person or legal entity purchasing watersport services or submitting an inquiry/reservation request through onlinewatersports.app.
Business / Operator
A licensed company operating in watersports, marine leisure, ski schools, or boat rental in any of the countries covered by the platform, promoting and fulfilling services through the platform.
Users
Collective term referring to all buyers, visitors, and verified business operators registered or interacting on the platform.
Agreement with the Operator
Any arrangement a visitor reaches directly with a business after an enquiry. It is concluded between those two parties alone; the platform is not a party to it.
Listing
A business's free entry on a beach page, showing its name, logo, description and the activities it offers. Listing is free of charge and carries no commission.
Enquiry
A message sent by a visitor through a beach page, which the platform records and forwards by email to the chosen operator. The platform processes no payments.
Rating & Review
Feedback and star ratings about an operator, with the operator having the right to publish a formal response.
Disputes & Resolution
Any disagreement between a visitor and an operator. As the platform is not party to their agreement and handles no money, such matters are resolved between them directly.
User Account & Code of Conduct
By accessing or creating an account on onlinewatersports.app, users commit to maintaining accurate and honest information. Account identities are handled with discretion, but users must never input false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content.
Prohibited Activities
- Offering uncertified, unlicensed, illegal, or fraudulent marine services.
- Creating false or duplicate accounts under another person's or business's name.
- Placing orders or submitting reviews with the malicious intention of defaming competing businesses. If detected, reviews will be voided and accounts will face permanent termination.
- Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, scrape, or extract source code from the platform.
- Attempting to overload, flood, or compromise platform infrastructure and APIs.
Watersports Businesses & Operators
Watersport centers, dive schools, and rental stations may register their listing on onlinewatersports.app to facilitate discovery and bookings from domestic and international visitors.
Licenses & Legal Authorizations: By publishing an activity or claiming a beach listing, the business explicitly warrants that it possesses all required operating licenses, certified instructors, national tax registration (VAT / Tax ID), and the maritime safety authorisations required by the local coast guard or port authority.
The contracting business is solely and exclusively responsible for maintaining sufficient Civil Liability Insurance covering all customers against all maritime leisure and accident risks. The business is exclusively accountable for the safety, seaworthiness, hygiene, rescue craft, and equipment standards of all services offered.
Online Watersports acts solely as an independent directory and booking technology platform and assumes no responsibility or guarantor status regarding the safety, execution, or transactional conduct of the operating business.
No Payment Handling: The platform does not collect, hold or remit any money on the business's behalf, and charges no commission. Listing is free. Visitors are introduced by email enquiry and all payment is arranged directly between the business and the customer.
Listing Quality Control: To safeguard consumer confidence, the platform reserves the right to unpublish or modify listings that contain inaccurate, misleading, or outdated descriptions, or if the station becomes inactive.
Visitors & Enquiries
The platform is a free directory. There is no checkout, no reservation system and no payment processing on this website.
- Enquiries, not bookings: submitting the form on a beach page sends an enquiry to that operator. It does not reserve anything and creates no obligation on either side until the operator confirms arrangements with you directly.
- Pricing and availability: are set and confirmed solely by the operator. Any activity names shown on a listing are indicative of what a business offers and are not an offer of sale.
- We are not a party: any agreement you reach is between you and the operator. Online Watersports is not an agent, broker, or guarantor of that agreement.
- Accuracy: please give a correct email address and phone number, as these are passed to the operator so they can reply to you.
Advertising on the Platform
This website is funded by advertising. Advertisements are served by third-party networks, currently Google AdSense.
- Advertisements are labelled and kept visually separate from directory content. No operator can obtain a better position in the directory by purchasing advertising, and listings are not ranked by payment.
- We do not control advertisement content. Ads are selected by the advertising network. Their appearance is not an endorsement by Online Watersports, and we accept no liability for goods or services offered by an advertiser.

Complaints & Reporting a Listing
Because the platform takes no payment and is not a party to your arrangement with an operator, we cannot issue refunds or arbitrate commercial disputes. We can, however, act on problems with the directory itself.
- Disputes with an operator should be raised with that business directly. Your statutory consumer rights against them are unaffected by these Terms.
- Inaccurate or outdated listings: tell us through thecontact pageand we will correct or remove the entry.
- Serious concerns — such as a business operating without the required licences or safety equipment — should be reported to us and to the competent Port Authority. We may suspend or remove a listing at our discretion.
- Your enquiry data: you may ask us to delete an enquiry you sent, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property & User Feedback
All arrangement, visual architecture, directory databases, software, logos, and trademarks displayed on onlinewatersports.app are the exclusive intellectual property of Online Watersports. Users may not reproduce, decompile, copy, adapt, or distribute platform material without explicit written authorization.
Ownership of Reviews & Suggestions: If users submit suggestions, proposals, or ratings regarding the platform, Online Watersports retains a permanent, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and publish such feedback. We reserve the right to review and remove any material suspected of infringing third-party intellectual property rights.
Limitation of Liability & Jurisdiction
Platform “As Is” Warranty Disclaimer: The website, its content, and all platform services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without express or implied warranties of any kind. Online Watersports does not warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by Greek and European law, Online Watersports, its directors, staff, affiliates, and agents shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including injury, physical accidents, equipment damage, or lost profits.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece).
For any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the interpretation, execution, or breach of these Terms, it is expressly agreed that the Courts of Chania, Crete shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
